DJ Panic
DJ Panic was born and raised in Ft. Worth, TX. Having a difficult childhood, he found himself living from house to house sometimes walking the streets looking for a place to stay. Realizing he could change his fate, he chose different friends which happened to be DJʼs. Thatʼs where he learned how to use turntables. He was intrigued by the way the music was mixed together and how the crowd reacted to it. He then started hitting the club scene where he met DJʼs like Felony (Felli Fel). He loved the energy level in the club so much he realized that is what he wanted to do. So he got together with a good friend and started doing house parties in Ft. Worth from south side to north side. They were starting to get noticed and at that point got offers to DJ at bars. His first gig was at a Mexican bar where he used two cassette players to mix with. That gig lead to another and another when he decided to take a break djʼing. After he tried his hand at roofing, fast food and landscaping he realized what truly made him happy.
So he went back to djʼing parties and everything was going good. His fate changed when a friend asked him to go with him to apply as a DJ at a new club opening. He went along and while he was there, decided to apply for a job himself. Not thinking he would actually get called back, he found a job elsewhere. On his way to his first day at the new job he got a call from the club asking if he could come in and try out for the DJ spot. He decided to go for it and was there for the next 9 years. That job lead to a radio gig on a Tejano station. After his 9 year run at that club, Panic continued to DJ at all the hot party spots in the metroplex He has also gone on the road to DJ for artists like Baby Bash/Frankie J/Kumbia Kingz/SPM/Too Short/DSR/Chingy/Kingz One/Bum B/Paul Wall and the list goes on. He landed a spot on the top 5 morning show in the DFW area where he met who he now calls his homies for life, Mean Mauri, Lisa Lisa ..It has been a match made in heaven.
